Swiss National Stud Farm

Since 2023, Avenches Tattoo has been held in the historic setting of the Swiss National Stud Farm in Avenches, featuring a 4,000-seat open-air arena specially installed for the event.

This site, shaped by over a century of equestrian tradition and preserved architecture, holds an important place in the region’s historical heritage. The half-timbered “Heimatstil” buildings, the Cour d’Honneur and the riding hall built according to the plans of engineer Gustave Eiffel continue to impress visitors to this day.
